Resolved Question: Going to college in California?

i moved from new york last year to Florida where im currently living now. Im going to a com. college nearby, however i hate it here. Ive never been to Cali but im very interested in moving there and attending college. However im unsure about the schools. Im looking for a pretty good size school, with decent academics, but most important is the school to have dorms and a good social scene as those two are most important to me.
